Gemini Mechanical Services Engineers successfully completed the refurbishment of the old Eldon Court management suite in Newcastle’s city centre. The first-floor redevelopment spans 18,500 sqm and includes offices, training suites, clinical rooms, and breakout areas designed to support NHS staff and other professionals.

Opened in May 2023, Eldon Court has become one of Newcastle’s flagship education centres, offering bespoke, state-of-the-art facilities tailored to both clinical and non-clinical courses.

Outfitted with the latest technology and cutting-edge equipment, the centre provides high-quality, immersive training environments that replicate real-life scenarios in a safe setting.

Notable features of Eldon Court include ward bays, treatment rooms, outpatient consultation spaces, flexible multipurpose training rooms, breakout areas, and a dedicated recording studio. These innovative spaces are thoughtfully designed to cater to diverse training needs, fostering professional growth and excellence.

    Gemini were employed to refurbish the existing Boiler plant to include a hybrid LTHW system using natural gas boliers and ASHPs. The project consisted of 4no AIC Boilers, Pumps and Ancillary Equipment including modicications to the existing BMS system. The new system was future proofed to accept a bolt on ASHP arrangement. .
