Gemini Energy were employed to design, install and certify a Solar PV system with battery storage.

The PV system is designed to maximise self consumption by feeding the building with free solar energy.

Any excess energy that is generated by the solar panels and not required by the building is typically fed back into the grid. However, Gemini designed a system that would capture this free energy and feed it into a bank of batteries so it can be used when the building demand required the power rather than relying on expensive energy from the grid.
