This project is the first phase in a broader refurbishment plan for the Big Local community centre in Whitley Bay.

We worked closely with the client and the architect to come up with a design to maximise solar generation for the site whilst accommodating the installation of rooflights that would provide valuable natural daylight to the second floor offices.

Collaboration between all parties was also a key factor in successful delivery; our team worked closely with the client to minimize disruption to the community centre to ensure it remained operational at all times.
